Fans of the San Francisco band Train knew they were on to something special when their 1998 debut album earned certified Platinum. From opening to bands like Barenaked Ladies, Hootie & the Blowfish, Cracker, and Counting Crows in the early and late 90s to selling out stadiums in the world, the Pat Monahan band is indeed on top of their game. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest listens to this band. Anyone from Generation X to Generation Z—or even a baby boomer—will likely hum along with a Train song when it comes on. Their music is accessible to listeners of all ages, which contributes to their enduring popularity.

Pop and rock music lovers around the globe have adopted songs such as "Drops of Jupiter," "Hey, Soul Sister," "Marry Me," and "If It's Love," among countless more. Although these songs are melodic and catchy, Monahan and his band really shine when it comes to the substance of their lyrics. They have released eleven studio albums so far, the most recent being "AM Gold" in 2022. However, it's their second album, "Drops of Jupiter," that solidified their position in the pop-rock industry. It is still the best-selling album by Train. Their 2009 album, "Save Me, San Francisco," is another noteworthy album. "Hey, Soul Sister," an international smash that has been certified 6× Platinum by the RIAA, is one of three singles from the album that made it to the Billboard 100.

Returning to the concert scene this year, Train will be joined by REO Speedwagon and Yacht Rock Revue for a major tour dubbed "Summer Road Trip 2024." The tour will kick off on July 8 in Somerset, Wisconsin, and will stop at numerous cities in the country, including Gilford, New Hampshire, on July 28. In this tour stop, which will be held at the Bank of NH Pavilion, Yacht Rock Revue will join the Grammy award-winning band. The band is known as the modern pop genre of dads in white belts and polyester shirts playing punk and mellow bass, the band was formed by Peter Olson, Nicholas Niespodziani, Mark Cobb, Greg Lee, Mark Bencuya, Mark Dannells, and David Freeman.

On Sunday, July 28, the Bank of NH Pavilion will host these two legendary bands. You can purchase your tickets by clicking the "Get Tickets" link on this page.
