Deep Purple then jet across the pond, and join up with Jefferson Starship for a light jaunt around Europe, before meeting up with Reef for a quick 5 date home ground U.K. tour in November.

The current lineup for Deep Purple is, the legendary frontman and lead singer, Ian Gillan, masterful bassist Roger Glover, maestro on keyboards Don Airey, sensational guitarist Simon McBride, and the powerhouse drummer Ian Paice. With well over 100 million album sales globally, the band literally wrote the book on huge concerts and started a movement that would turn Rock music into Hard Rock and eventually Metal.

With a band that's been around this long, it gets difficult to pick out just any album to highlight. Their last studio album, Whoosh!, from 2020, made it to number 4 on the U.K. album charts, and if you combine the numbers from their previous two, Now WHAT?!, from 2013 and, Infinite, from 2017, you'll once again find one of the best-selling Rock and Hard Rock bands in recent history with a combined over 1 million album sales!

Yes are lead singer for the last decade and a bit, Jon Davison, on and off guitarist and singer since the 70s, Steve Howe, on and off keys since the 80s, Geoff Downes, now bassist, although, he has sung and played both guitar and keys for the band since the 90s, Billy Sherwood, and former touring drummer from 2016, and now full-time member, Jay Schellen. The Prog-Rock pioneering band has been around, and in many forms, since as fay back a 1969. Their latest, and 23rd, studio album, Mirror to the Sky, came out in May last year. Charting at a respectable 22 on the Billboard 200, and number 20 on the Top Tastemaker Albums, meanwhile over in the U.K. it hit number 30 on the UK Albums and number 4 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums charts.
