He is an artist.
His musical palette is filled with many colours and shades, his long career is revered around the globe. His brush is delicate, telling stories that can be felt and understood on bone, soul, and cellular level; his vision is exceptional, and his expertise in expressing it in sound is nothing short of miraculous. His love for what he does, what he creates, and what he brings to the world is admirable - and it forms the understructure upon which every single artwork is carefully created.
He is Paul Simon.
He is the very icon who, in the 1960s alongside his musical partner Art Garfunkel, enthralled the world with beautiful harmonies, perfect vocal blend, and indelible songs, from Scarborough Fair and Homeward Bound to I Am a Rock and Anji, from The Sound of Silence and Mrs. Robinson to Bridge Over Troubled Water and The Boxer. He is the songcrafter who taught the world the true value of good music when he embarked on his massively successful solo career in the 1970s, with extraordinary songs such as Mother and Child Reunion and Graceland to Kodachrome and Loves Me Like a Rock to Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes.
He is a musical magician.
In 2023 Paul Simon released a new album Seven Psalms, following a vivid dream. The album is unique in the sense that it is 33 minutes of an uninterrupted musical meditation, with the seven songs linked by a motif from Anji.
During this time, he was experiencing hearing loss and had retired from touring, but embarked in 2025 on a tour in intimate North American venues that was so successful, that he has extended the dates well into 2026. The additional leg of the A Quiet Celebration tour that will see Paul Simon perform Seven Psalms in full, alongside his most adored songs is scheduled to kick off in early June 2026 in Palo Alto, California, with stops in Morrison, Cuyahoga Falls, Lenox, Philadelphia, Raleigh, and Franklin, among others, wrapping up in Highland Park in mid-July 2026.
The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion is without a doubt the most adored, most frequented outdoors venue in northern New England.
