The Revivalists are an eight-member alternative rock band from New Orleans. The band was founded in 2007 by singer David Shaw and guitarist Zack Feinberg. Together they recruited more members until they finally completed the eight-member line-up, including a saxophonist, keyboard, and trumpet player. The band dropped their debut album, Vital Signs, in 2010. The self-released record was followed by their sophomore effort, City of Sound. The 2014 album spawned several singles, including “Criminal,” “Upright,” and “Navigate Below.”
The Revivalists got their first breakthrough upon releasing their third effort, Men Amongst Mountains. The album entered Billboard’s Alternative and Rock charts, peaking at numbers 18 and 23. The record also spawned the double-platinum single “Wish I Knew You,” which topped the Adult Alternative Airplay (AAA) chart and Alternative charts. In 2018, the band entered the Billboard 200 for the first time with their fourth album, Take Good Care. The album peaked at number 78 and peaked at numbers 9 and 11 on the Alternative and Rock charts. Take Good Care featured several highly-acclaimed tracks, including the number 1 AAA hit, “All My Friends.”
This February, the Revivalists dropped their latest single, “Kid,” which will be included in their upcoming album, Pour It Out Into The Night. The album, set for release this June, will be released via Concord Records. The 32-date summer trek will promote the new album’s tracks and the band’s older hits.
